After being indicted by the U.S. government for having communist ties, Samuel Ornitz, a Hollywood screenwriter, must choose between sacrificing the names of his fellow party members or a traitor in the eyes of America .
I have been working with production designer Joy Heller for years now and I was so excited when she asked me to come and help her with the period piece she was doing for Max and Jordan, some more of my friends, and just talented awesome people. Together, using her designs and props from both the Warner Bros and Universal prop houses we were able to transform locations to 1947 and construct a stage build. Love this set, Joy and the rest of the crew killed it. So much fun
Beyond assisting Joy in pre-production and on set, I also made many graphics, including this vintage new paper I made in Illustrator
I also replicated vintage WGA cards on Illustrator. These were then printed and cut out. The news paper clippings I also made.
Joy designed the bathroom and I supported by helping "tile" the walls, loading and constructing the flats, and installing hardware.
I assisted with set decoration, my bread and butter :)
